With over a decade of experience, I am a highly proficient integration developer specializing in both US Healthcare and NHS. In recent years, my primary focus has been the development of robust and effective processes for data interoperability, strictly adhering to HIPAA standards. My expertise extends to a wide range of information messaging standards, including DICOM, EDI, HL7, and FHIR, as well as middleware principles such as API, REST, WSDL, SOAP and Web Services.
I have actively contributed to the Meaningful Use (MU2 & MU3) certification process in various roles and capacities. I have played key roles in CCHIT, Drummond, and SLI certifications, both as a consultant & as a implementation developer.
My hands-on experience covers NQF-MIPS (eCQM), NQF-MIPS (CQMs) and a comprehensive range of HL7 v2 messages, including ADT, SIU, DFT, ORM, ORU, VXU, MDM, QRY, ROR. I have skillfully leveraged integration tools such as Mirth Connect, Redox, Iguana, Cloverleaf, eGate, Corepoint Integration Engine and have developed custom parsers and data scrapping scripts for handling non-standard message formats/data in data exchange.
My expertise extends to HL7 V3 (CDA, CCD, C CDA) where I've effectively utilized tools like MIRTH Connect, ETL routines MDHT, Bluebutton JS, CCDA Schematron, XSD, and XSLT for efficient data transformations.
Moreover, I bring experience in immunization connectivity with state registries encompassing profiles such as Z22, Z23, Z31, Z32, Z33, Z34, Z42, and Z44. I have successfully established bi-directional lab interfaces with multiple labs including ECW, BioReference, VitalAxis, LabCorp, and Quest, and have seamlessly interfaced with various vendors to facilitate data exchange including eClinicalWorks, Practice Fusion, Nextgen, True Charts, INFINTT, Athena, Office Practicum, Office Ally, All Scripts, advancedMD, CureMD, Amazing Charts, Soliton Radiology+, CliniSys ICE, West County Radiological Group).
