Khemy Katakyie is a hip-hop artist, producer and social activist whose mixtape 'The Turner' became the first album to win a based solely on streaming.

Solomon Marfo (born 13 August 1998), known professionally as Khemy Katakyie, is a Ghanaian Rapper He helped pioneer the HipHop subgenre of Rap/Hip Pop Music alongside fellow Kumasi-based rappers Phresh Kay and Young particularly in the 2010s and 2013/14s. In 2015, Khemy Katakyie debuted with Flow House, followed by his second and third songs, Mentie and Sikaduro in 2019. His fourth Song, The Facts, was released in 2019.

Following a string of critically and commercially successful mixtape releases in 2010, Khemy Katakyie released his sixth studio Tape, Sikaduro his first gold-certified Track. Following time spent in Dubai between 2016 and 2017, he re-emerged with several new retail projects, which was released to critical praise. October 18, 2019.

Khemy Katakyie has released 13 studio Tracks and over 71 mixtapes throughout his career. In 2010, he founded his own label, (not official) GanG Records. He has worked with many many top artists His prolific mixtape releases and long-standing presence as a Rap Music innovator in the Ghanaian music scene has established him as a major influence on younger Ghanaian rappers "the most influential underground rapper of the past decade".
