I am a certified freelance translator with five (05) years of experience, specialized in Life Sciences, Medicine, Healthcare, Manuals, Marketing, E-commerce, Social Media, Certificates, CVs, Pedagogy, and Education (English <-> Portuguese). I am a native of Portuguese (Brazil).
I am also a writer, with 17 years of experience. Since 2001, I have published several articles in peer-reviewed journals and other texts on several scientific topics. I am a Freelance Copyeditor for the Society for Experimental Biology and Medicine (2017- present), and I was a Subject Editor for the Zootaxa Journal for two years (2015- 2017). Since 2015, I deliver webinars and workshops on scientific writing and publishing ethics.
In 2009, I completed a Ph.D. in Life Sciences at the University of São Paulo (USP, Brazil). Subsequently, I worked as a postdoctoral researcher for six years in the USP, the Natural History Museum of London, and the Federal University of Paraná (Brazil). I co-supervised postgraduate students, collaborated with field expeditions, attended scientific events in South America and Europe, and received visiting researchers from abroad.
