Khizer Abbasi

Brought up in a conservative and semi-feudal environment, educated at liberal and forward leaning institutions, I yearn to create a synthesis of the two experiences.

I have a degree in Political Science, along with a History minor. Hence, I am usually keen on research and analysis of events related to politics, history and generally any discipline pushing the envelope of human understanding.

Despite the tough economic circumstances, education has proved to be my most valuable accomplishment in life. Not because of what it taught me, but because of exposing to me my ignorance, liberating me of my dogmas and in turn showing the vastness of the sea of knowledge. A fascinating sea, one so beautiful that I am willing to swim in it for the rest of my life, while humbly acknowledging my ignorance at every stroke I take.
