Ever since being shown how to program a robotic spider to move across a classroom floor as a little kid in Ireland, I have understood and really enjoyed what even the most basic computer can do, if you can figure it out that is. While my days of playing with commodore's, running bulletin board systems to play an "online" game with others and building computers to play multiplayer games with buddies, I am always on the lookout for the next thing to play with.

Lucky for me computers have been at every place I have worked. Not surprisingly with computers changing so quickly during those earlier years, many of the people I worked with needed help and I normally had a few suggestions on how to use them. It turned out that I started to get well known and in turn, I started to get asked about things I hadn't even seen before. I think this helped fuel the passion for computers to become a career.

Over time I have been lucky enough to be a part of some great companies that allowed me even more opportunities to learn, to help and to travel J. From working with warehouses of the first major wave of internet servers, to the little small retail stores in the country side, to large international companies that let me travel back to Europe, projects that pushed the envelope by flipping a switch at midnight to make one business in to another, and even while working at hotels where I got to be part of the team to help with wedding and other amazing events. No job has been too big or too small for me to find the joy in the end product.

Now I am enjoying time with my family in between traveling abroad on projects installing software solutions, and always looking for the next gadget to play with or challenge to solve.
