DREAM BIG AND DARE TO FAIL.

Born inquisitive and passionate, I love learning about just about anything that gives me an insight into how the world works; from Politics to Geology, from History to Biology and from Egyptology to Marketing and Business. However, there are two things that truly define my interests; people-skills & Science.

Such a range of interests, natural talents, strong interpersonal and communication skills, determination, ingenuity and the habit of hard-work, together with the managerial, organisational and commercial knowledge I have gained in my short but intense work-experience, have shaped the uniquely skilled person I have become.

Some of these talents have undoubtedly helped me succeed through commercially assisting my dad's business (John P. Whitten Holmwood S.L.) by opening new markets during 2008, managing a key account by working on-site with producers in 2009, directing the Sales and Exports division of two wineries between 2012 and 2013 and finally establishing myself as a self-employer working in conjunction with J.P.W.Holmwood S.L.'s food, wine and construction departments (Food at Source, Wine at Source & Wood at Source) to develop projects with existing and new clients all over the globe.

I am also passionate about learning about different cultures and thus my love of travelling comes as a consequence, which, together with my innate social skills makes it quite appropriate that I have worked in such internationalpositions in such internationally driven companies.

With a Spanish mother and an English/Irish father, I grew up on the border between Spain and France, in what is called the Basque Country. While I lived in a small French town called Urrugne, I went to a Basque School for 13 years where Basque (one of the oldest and most difficult languages in the world) was the language through which we were taught. When the time came, I decided to take on a challenge and enrolled in the International Baccalaureate in Spanish, which I completed successfully, together with the Standard Baccalaureate. But the double effort paid off. It gave me the opportunity to travel to the UK in order to pursue my scientific career. I studied Physics in Exeter where I was immersed for 4 years in an entirely English environment so enriching my cultura
