Kiah McBride

Kiah McBride is a writer, freelancer, and soon-to-be graduate of Howard University.

Her background in marketing and love of words has enabled her to take a unique approach to her writing—she is able to identify what consumers want to know about and utilize her art of storytelling to capture their interests. This ability allowed her to work with Nike to create a social media strategy guide, which eventually led to her current position as a freelance blog writer for Nike Sportswear.

In addition to corporate writing, Kiah has contributed entertainment, lifestyle, and fashion pieces for 101 Magazine, 25 Magazine, and Elite DC. She’s written profiles and features on artists such as Janelle Monáe, Shawn Chrystopher, and J. Cole among many others.

Beyond her love for the arts and entertainment, Kiah enjoys diving into a good book and exploring new cultures. Her travels have led her to over thirteen countries and she will continue to strive towards her goal of being a world traveler. She hopes that through her travel blog, Internationally Trippin’, that she will inspire others to want to explore other countries and cultures as well.
