Who is Kiana
And why does it matter?
Well, I am Kiana
Was that a good answer?
Fun fact my parents almost named me Diana
With these rhymes, could she be a rapper. . .
Or possibly a poetry master. . .
Just a little joke, but I do love to chatter
On with the answers
You’ve finally found me! Allow me to start again and properly introduce myself. Hello there, I am Kiana Yin, a 17 year old high school student living in a state that is shaped like your left hand. Now this is what I’ve discovered so far.
1) I love podcasts. Reading tasks take all of your attention, so does watching a movie. However, podcasts allow your eyes to rest. Hearing a powerful voice speaking about awesome content. Somehow everything comes alive and you see with clarity. When listening to podcasts you can usually find me tidying my room, cooking pasta, or scanning encounters at work.
2) I don’t really like sweets, but I will take cashews and French fries over just about any other food you could put in front of me. Don’t forget a side of ketchup with those fries. There has to be ketchup or I will not eat the fries.
3) Big fan of inspirational quotes. My computer background is a moving gallery of all my favorite quotes I could fit into an album. Here’s a few of my favorites . . .
“Take chances, make mistakes. That’s how you grow. Pain nourishes your courage. You have to fail in order to practice being brave”- Mary Tyler Moore
“For we walk by faith, and not by sight”- 2 Corinthians 5:7
“You must let go of the illusion of control”- Master Oogway
4) If in the future time-traveling exists, I’d like to travel to the year 1978- a year of peculiar fashion choices and embarrassing hairstyles. I mean the 1970s, in general, is now known as the “good old days”. It’d be fun to see everyone confidently wearing bell-bottom pants in the streets, singing Summer Nights from the film Grease. 1978 was also when the Walkman was invented, I can see myself camping in the crowds outside of BestBuy. And the first thing I’d do is download “I want you back” by Jackson. One step closer to being like Peter Quill!
5) Nature excursions are where I'm happiest and where I brain dagger the most!! I bet I can skip all the rocks in Lake Michigan within a day.
Well. . . who really is Kiana?
I'm sad I can't answer that question
But I can tell you Kiana is still growing intellectually, spiritually, and emotionally. But for sure not physically. She's taking little steps at a time to discover the world, finding her place to make a mark in.
