My name is Kianna Odom, and I’m a senior Mass Media Arts major at Clark Atlanta University, concentrating in Public Relations. I’m passionate about storytelling, brand communication, and the way sports connect people, which is why I’m pursuing a career in sports public relations.
I currently serve as the Sports Communications Intern for all 10 athletic programs at Clark Atlanta, where I act as the primary media contact and help manage coverage, content, and engagement for our teams and student-athletes. Outside of athletics, I curate “A Month Teal Remember”—an annual Sexual Assault Awareness Month event held each April for Denim Day to promote healing and advocacy for survivors and allies.
My background also includes experience in graphic design and media production, with work featured like EPK designs for artist Von Dutch and collaborations with Charismatic Solutions on Bri Trilla’s From The Block performance and TrashMag’s SXSW set.
I’m a proud member of PRSSA (Public Relations Student Society of America) and SEMA (Sports and Entertainment Management Association), and I enjoy staying involved in the community through volunteer work with the Atlanta Community Food Bank and PR support for AP Detailing’s Annual Back-to-School Drive.
Originally from Miami, Florida, but raised in Norcross, Georgia, I currently work in Guest Experience at State Farm Arena. That role has given me valuable insight into how fans, teams, and brands interact — and has deepened my passion for creating meaningful connections through sports and media.
