Kiara Williamson

Hi, I’m Kiara Williamson — an Australian actor drawn to raw emotion, grounded storytelling, and the occasional croissant with poached eggs and spinach (Trust me on that one).

I loved the idea of acting in my childhood, but it wasn’t until I was 19, after watching the series Friends, that I knew I craved performance, and from there, I decided to pursue it seriously. What I love most about acting is the emotional freedom it offers: the chance to fully feel, release, cry, and explore what it means to be human.

I’ve trained extensively across screen and voice. For three years, I studied at Austin Acting Studio, focusing on emotional truth and character development. I also completed a short diploma in TV Acting and Drama with Tanya Powell Modelling Agency, where I built confidence on camera, worked with teleprompter techniques, and developed foundational screen skills.

My training continued with Katherine Beck (Hollywood Prep School), where I completed a one-year vocal program, developing an advanced American accent and learning phonetic-based character creation. More recently, I studied at Hollywood Actor Lab, strengthening my screen technique, expanding my industry network, and preparing for agency representation, which I’ve since secured. As for my current study, I've jumped into singing lessons, so be careful, because I currently sound like a Banshee.

Alongside screen work, I’ve recently stepped into theatre, performing my first stage role as the Apothecary in Romeo and Juliet. I’m also set to appear in Rossum’s Universal Robots in July 2026.

On set, I bring preparation, energy, and a love for collaboration. One of my favourite shoot days was Dear Life, where I met incredible creatives (including my previous acting coach) and learned that sometimes the job really can feel like joy. As an actor, I’m especially drawn to characters with heavier backstories — the ones you can really dig into emotionally — but I also love the freedom and fun of playing comedy.

Whether it’s drama or light-hearted material, I’m here for the connection, the story, and the chance to bring something real to the screen.
