My names is Ki'Asia Smith . I am 20 years old studying nursing at North Carolina Central University. Im currently employed as an certified nursing assistant at river point crest in my home town of New Bern , NC. The youngest of 6 children . Im the first child to go to a four year university.

In hopes to become a neo-natal nurse I know that preparation is the key. I have always had a love for children. When my nephew was born he was premature and had heart problems he was in the nicu for some time. Seeing him sick and how much the nurses cared for him and helped him become better really inspired me. I have always wanted to become a nurse but that is one of the main reasons I choose to become a neonatal nurse. I want to be able to help people. In 5- 10 years I want to be working in a wonderful hospital , nursing sick babies back to help. Making sure their families are okay.
