The wrong time I'm discussing is more central.

Let's say you're very nearly done with your website. It'll be up next week, and you are nearly ready to begin taking orders. Is the time-to distribute a press release? All things considered, everything will be ready by the time the press release strikes. And you do need to get your press release out as soon as possible so you can capitalize on the free traffic.
