I have taught chess to kids for several years as an instructor in the public school systems after care program. I firmly believe in the motto that "Chess Makes You Smart. Playing chess has proven to help students enhance their creativity, and improve their power of concentration. Additionally, chess has been shown to augment problem-solving capabilities, provide cultural enrichment, advance intellectual maturity, and enhance self-esteem. All of the qualities that school administrators, parents, and teachers desire for their students. KIDZCHESS is an enrichment program that brings the benefits of chess to children that is both fun and engaging. Curriculum includes learn to play chess overview, animated lessons, setting up the board and pieces, basic piece moves, advanced piece moves, basic strategy and chess puzzles.
