My name is Kiera Benge and I just finished my junior year at Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa where I have been double majoring in biochemistry and Spanish with a pre-medicine focus. This summer I have taken my life abroad to San Ramón, Costa Rica for a few months. Here I plan to learn about international health care affairs as well as improve my fluency in the Spanish language. After receiving my BA back in the States, I plan to pursue a career in Medicine. Although I am unsure of what specific specialty I wish to pursue, I greatly enjoy the fields of pediatrics, neonatology, and orthopedics.
