Background:

Kiernan Michael Major (born July 19, 1996) is an American entrepreneur and U.S. Marine veteran known for a variety of ventures including the founding of EyesOnly Enterprises, a private intelligence and security consulting firm based in Silicon Valley.

Early Life: Kiernan Michael Major was born on July 19, 1996, into an Irish-Catholic family, to John Edward Major III and Michelle Marie Major. He grew up in Auburn, New York along Owasco Lake and attended Auburn High School, where he graduated in 2014. Major began advocating for Bitcoin in 2011. Upon research of the Silk Road Marketplace as an adolescent Major stumbled upon Austrian economic theory which motivated him to make his first of many Bitcoin investments. He later enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and began recruit training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island in South Carolina in July of 2014.

Military Service: After graduation from Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island as a Private First Class, Major reported to Camp Geiger in Jacksonville, North Carolina to attend the U.S. Marine Corps School of Infantry (SOI) and Infantry Training Battalion (ITB) where he graduated as an Automatic Rifleman (MOS 0311) and was later embedded with Company “E” of the the 2nd Battalion, 2nd Marines out of Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune. Major was soon promoted to Lance Corporal (E-3) and deployed with his unit eight months later in April of 2015 to Western Asia after tensions between U.S. allies and the Islamic State of Iraq in Syria (ISIS) resulted in the capture of two fighter pilots who were later burned to death by the terrorist group. Upon his return to the United States, Major underwent a standard health evaluation which resulted in a separation recommendation by a naval psychiatrist. In November 2015 Major was honorably discharged.

Post-Military Service: After being discharged from the United States Marine Corps, Major relocated to Tallahassee, Florida, where he enrolled at Tallahassee State College. While attending college, he worked as a sales representative for a local marketing agency. During this period, he collaborated with a group of programmers and marketing professionals to establish a business offering search engine optimization (SEO) services to local clients. The company reportedly developed a client portfolio valued at approximately $2 million, which was subsequently sold to a group of investors in New York City in 2017.

Real Estate Ventures: Following the transfer of his client portfolio to a group of New York-based investors with connections in the real estate business, Major developed connections with a network of high-net-worth individuals and real estate professionals. He used this opportunity to gain industry experience and build relationships within the sector. Utilizing funds earned from the portfolio transaction, Major began making investments in real estate while expanding his professional network.

Defense Contracting: In approximately 2018 Major began a contractual role at CACI International in Tampa, Florida supporting the United States Department of Defense (DoD). Shortly after, in 2019 he supported diplomatic initiatives with the United States Department of State at the International Telecommunications Union (ITU) in Geneva, Switzerland.

Private Intelligence: In 2020, Major founded EyesOnly Enterprises, a private intelligence firm composed of former military and intelligence personnel. The company offered services such as election management, litigation support, vulnerability testing, and due diligence. According to reports, the firm collaborated with the United States Secret Service on several occasions.
