Hi, I’m Kieth. I help people start and run new companies.
I started as an engineer at NASA Ames, Flight Simulation Laboratory designing telemetry devices with the M6800 in assembly language. No compilers in those days.
I moved on to being the VP of Engineering at RAMTEK, the pioneer in raster based computer graphics. I rearchitected their products to M68000 and "C" in 1982 before anyone had heard of C. The M68000 drove our proprietary 3D VLSI.
I founded RasterOps as CEO taking it public in 35 months. At ROPS we introduced 24 bit "TrueColor" and realtime video in a window on the MACII and subsequently PCs when Windows 3.0 was introduced.
I cofounded Blanca Partners, a high tech centric PE fund. I was a interim CEO at Sento, a public portfolio company we converted to a tech support company with our first customer Intuit.
I owned Approach Systems, an aviation GPS moving map company.
For the last 10 years i have been involved in helping others start companies in a variety of fields.
Currently I am the CFO at Carketa Inc. where we introduced "Current Condition Reports" linked with our dynamically configurable Reconditioning SaaS App providing all car dealers the tools to compete with Carvana.
I live in SF and Utah
