Kiko Ellsworth

To the surprise of many, Kiko Ellsworth grew up a shy boy not able to speak his mind. It wasn't until he embarked upon a very engaging acting career that he really began to blossom as a person. Always having a profound love for empowering children, he went from special education teacher to adopting and raising his 11 year old cousin, to creating an empowering Self Defense Company, Inspire Me Defense. His company donates their empowerment programs pro bono for all of the women and children of Safe Passage. The program offered to them is specifically designed from the inside out that teaches females and children how to defend themselves spiritually, emotionally, mentally and physically. Other types of programs include In Home Protection, One on One Empowerment and others. Working exclusively with Safe Passage for over 5 years, Kiko is now the Vice President and the Self Defense Empowerment Coordinator.
Founded in 2001, his multimedia production company You Inspire Me Inc. is dedicated to creating conscious & uplifting content. Recently just releasing their first mobile iphone app, Script Reader Pro, made especially for writers, directors and actors. A simple yet powerful app that reads aloud & organizes any script while you're on the go along with many other features .
Kiko has been all over television and the silver screen from Dexter, Heroes, General Hospital to Gunslinging opposite Will Smith and Martin Lawrence in Bad Boys 2. But currently you can catch Mr. Ellsworth on the upcoming "Body of Proof" with films slated for release in 2013-14.
Available everywhere April 12th, 2013 is his debut album entitled "The Great Awakening". An album as Ellsworth's says was spawned from deep meditation in yoga class at 4am. He classifies it as spiritually innovative hip hop.
Happily married since 2008, he and his lovely wife Christine now have their latest addition to their family. Their first child, Zen Satya Ellsworth. "I was made to be a family man, my daughter made me a man!" Everyday Kiko spends time with his family, perfecting his craft and expanding into his purpose here on Earth.
