Leslie Kilbourn

After eight years teaching eighth grade ELA and five years as an instructional technology specialist at Deer Park Junior High, I returned to the classroom at Lanier Middle School as an 8th grade English Language Arts teacher just in time to help support the campus with educational technology through the COVID pandemic and distance learning. I served one year as IB coordinator, instructional technology specialist and interim librarian, then found my place again in a sixth grade ELA classroom. With recent changes, I am seeking a new opportunity to continue my career outside of Houston ISD.
