Hi, I’m Kim. I’m a Mom and Nanna living in Mayo, South Carolina. I am a fan of reading, writing, and photography. I’m also interested in music and movies.
But My life, My HEART.....belongs to my children and my and grandchildren!! Nothing brings me joy and warmth like my family! I have 3 children...Ashlie 29, Tyler 23 and Spencer 16. I have 1 grand daughter 21mths...Ruby Ann, and a grand son on the way due in February 2017....Joseph Walter Moon!! Both are children of my daughter and son in law Ashlie and Joseph Moon. I am so proud of each of my kids! Being a single mom for the majority of their lives I feared making horrible mistakes in raising them and guiding them. Each night I prayed that God would guide me and stand beside me while I guided them and only by His grace my kids are absolutely amazing and we have very close bonds!
My daughter Ashlie is an absolutely incredible photographer! She has a natural eye for beauty and finds the most amazing shots! I have suffered with fibromyalgia, narcolepsy, bipolar, cervical spondylosis, osteoarthritis, migraines with aura and several other chronic illnesses for most of my adult years. Each year gets worse, each day is a struggle. I'm still fighting and as long as I have fight in me I will continue to fight!
Invisible illnesses make daily life extremely difficult to live because others don't understand and many don't want to understand or even believe. The most difficult is when those in your own household don't believe or take time to understand. It's much more painful when someone you love treats you as if you are faking. Invisible illness awareness is so very important!!!
