Kim Sanwald

I am co-owner of Brickyard Farms, LLC; a 5.5 acre vegetable truck-farm in Cloverdale, Michigan, with my wife Valerie Lane. I have written two books; a cookbook/memoir Basics With A Twist in 2011; and my new cookbook Twisted Basics, published in March of 2020. I have taught cooking classes and writing workshops. I am particularly interested in the local food movement and food justice. I have served on the Board of Directors for the Fulton Street Farmer's Market in Grand Rapids, since its inception.
