Kim Margaret Wheeler

I’m a technologist and entrepreneur interested in Artificial Intelligence to advance cybersecurity defense for technology applications - cloud-based as well as for embedded systems such as robotics.

My previous roles focused on applications of 3D sensing and robotics. I love robotics, space, AI, cognitive science, machine vision, and product development. I take a systems engineering approach to design as well as business operations and project management.

I love trail running, paddle-boarding and the outdoors. I'm passionate about good food, health and world well-being.

I co-founded RoadNarrows Robotics, which was a Colorado-based robotics company that developed and sold open-source robot platforms for research and academia from 2002 to 2018.

From 2018 to 2021 I worked with AIRY3D, a Montreal-based startup that has a CMOS diffraction mask technology for 3D sensing applications. This has exciting implications for real-time medical, automotive, robotics, and IoT applications.

Currently I'm working for OpenSesame - an eLearning SaaS company in the Information Systems department as manager of Security and Compliance for Product and Engineering.
