I’m a stay-at-home wife and mother and am blessed to be able to stay home with my sweet little chickadee.

I’m a bit quirky, a bit of a romanticist, a lover of God, family, music, learning, humor, refashioning clothing, art, reading, sewing, imagination, crafts, cooking, decorating, and anything DIY. Basically, I just LOVE to create and learn new things!

I love the sound of falling rain, the smell of fresh apple pie, the feel of cool dirt and grass under my toes, the crackling of a cozy fire, and the feel of a good books pages under my fingertips.

I kind of feel like I have so many interests that I’m not really good at one focused area. I’m sort of an “aspiring everything…”

I love to dream of the future and have dreams of living a more simple and self-sustaining life. I dream of sheep and gardens and family.

Ironically, I wanted to start a blog, but feel I have trouble expressing myself. I thought this blog would help me learn to share my thoughts, dreams, and my journey to a more simple life.
