I joined the teaching profession after working in the creative business world for over 7 years. Although I loved what I did, there was always a need to work and mentor today's teenagers. I am constantly telling my students how they are always teaching and inspiring me to be a better educator. The profession and the classroom has changed since I first entered in 1996. With these changes have brought about new challenges and approaches to better meet the needs of today's learner. The world has become a much smaller place with the increasing presence of technology. Today's mobile technologies offer opportunities to expand the learning environment beyond the traditional classroom.
