I'm a founding partner of Live and Learn, and serve as the Marketing Director (though I often find myself doing much more than marketing). In the past two years, we've gone from "an inspiring story," to a fully functioning 501(c)3 organization with more demand for speaking engagements than our calendar will allow. (I'm not complaining!)
Live and Learn raises awareness for life after paralysis, and shares the message that adversity is not the end; it's just a new beginning. We love to say that paralysis doesn't make you handicapped, it makes you handiCAPABLE.
My "day job" as they say is at HostedNumbers.com , where I am part of a marketing team whose collective creativity blows me away every day. Quite often I'm convinced it's a dream.
In May 2015 I'll graduate from Florida State University with 2 bachelors degrees - one in Communication, and one in Marketing.
Though I will never leave Live and Learn, after graduation I plan to pursue a career in artist management. With quite a bit of tour booking and management experience under my belt from Live and Learn, I hope for an easy transition into music management.
Other interests (okay, obsessions) include being thrilled over syncopated rhythms, writing music, and anything to do with the ocean (namely surfing and ocean conservation).
