Born in Malta 1989 and currently in Australia

My practice involves audiovisual projects, curating events, creative writing, videography and editing, designing and programming interactive platforms, and doing live visuals (VJ'ing) for events and public spaces. I'm the artistic director of Electrofringe, an electronic arts organisation/Meetup/festival.

By exploring opportunities that transcend boundaries of culture, geographic location, and definable domains, I build projects aiming to enhance creativity in communication with each other and with computers. I look forward to a greater synthesised approach to the arts, technology, social and life sciences and I encourage a contemporary renaissance enabled by communities with open access to information and technology to generate equal control of individual empowerment.

Over the past eight years I have coordinated events, started a business, released two music albums, published a book of poetry, produced music video's, performed at over a hundred events, and participated in artist residencies in Tallinn, Riga and San Francisco. Recently I've been running workshops and community meetings on audiovisual arts practices at Kalmar Art Museum and UNIK Youth Centre in Sweden, and at Panke Cultural Centre in Berlin.

I'm currently studying a research Masters in Networked Curating at UNSW Art & Design. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Art & Technology majoring in Edutainment from Saxion University in The Netherlands (2015), a Diploma of Interactive Digital Media from MSIT in Australia (2010), and a Diploma of Live Production, Theatre & Events from SBIT (2008) in Australia. I've also completed recognised short-courses in Business Management, E-Learning, Imaging Culture, Creative Coding, and in Sound Design. I'm passionate about education, and ecspecially designing your own educational path.

In the last 10 years I've worked as a researcher for Saxion Centre for Design & Technology (2015), videographer for FITC Amsterdam (2015), photo archivist at Deutsche Kinemathek (2014), videographer and photographer for Transmediale Festival (2011), videographer and video editor for Storyteller Films (2009-2013), videographer for New Media Film Festival San Francisco (2011), and as a graphic design apprentice at HUMAN ventures (2005-2007)
