Kimberley Flood

I am a communication technology educator with the Waterloo Region District School Board. I originally came from the creative side of the business world but I was always drawn to teaching teenagers. One day I packed up my desk and have never looked back. I try and help students find the wonder in learning and the drive to discover their talents. Through this journey, I have discovered that a good educator is never done learning; I continue to explore how technology can be an effective learning tool for secondary students--specifically smartphones. Learning to me is a collective process of all participants and I am continuously learning everyday with and by my students.
