I began my career as an assistant as a young child by taking messages for my father’s construction business. At 15 years of age I was given the responsibility of opening, operating, and closing an ice cream store during the summer. For several years I continued to work in the customer service industry as an teammate, trainer, lead, assistant manager, and I even ran my own business.

Later in life I decided to go back to school. I acquired a bachelor’s degree in the technology field. On my first day of class I learned the meaning of "boot" a computer, user name, and password. Between degrees I took a position as a researcher, which soon led to the assistant to the CEO of the company. In 2008 I became an American Red Cross volunteer; working as an assistant for the director in my hometown.

Currently my employment involves the use of a variety of automated systems. Researching, analysis, and reporting are required daily. My efficiency skills are utilized. Each day offers an opportunity to learn more, exercising my mind.

I have been privileged to lead a life that has allows me cultivate my skills throughout the years. By working in customer service and volunteering at the Red Cross I have been able to assist others by engaging my skills. I have also discovered the personal satisfaction that comes from using my skills to help others. My present work offers the same gratification, along with various challenges, that allows me to grown.
