My name is Kimberly Rios. I am passionate about one thing: people. I have spent my life working with others, so once I began college at Azusa Pacific University, it only seemed natural to major in communication studies. I was able to work under amazing professors and take courses in conflict management, group communication, and public relations. More importantly, I have spent the last year and a half working for Azusa Pacific University in their public relations department as a media relations intern. While here, I was able to learn all of the basics of public relations, including how to write press releases and how to interact with the media. More recently, I have been assigned to help oversee the creation of a new community newsletter. I hope to continue working in a field I love, one that enables me to work with people.
