Kimberly Collins

In order to provide students with the necessary skills, attitudes, and knowledge to succeed, an educator needs to have a strong background and conviction to ensure that all students will be able to attain equal education opportunities. I completion my B.A. in Education with certification in Learning and Behavior Disorders and P-5, and then accepted a position as an Exceptional Child Instructor. I have been teaching special education in first grade for two years. I have teaching experience in both collaboration and resource settings, as well as extensive evaluation experience. My teaching experience has provided me with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in the differentiation and implementation of meaningful, diverse learning experiences for my students, as well as relationship building with my community, students/ parents, and colleagues and school leadership. My goal is to ensure that all students areable to attain equal education opportunities to the fullest of their abilities.
