I am a reporter for the Las Vegas Review-Journal and student of mass communication and media studies at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism. I briefly studied at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where I transferred after obtaining my associate degree in Washington State. In addition to the work I've done with the Review-Journal, I have been published by The Seattle Times, The Kitsap Sun and UNLV’s Virtual Rebel.
In my spare time, I'm on a plane bound for anywhere, Europe; gallivanting around my homeland, the Pacific Northwest; exploring my current home, Las Vegas; or binge-watching the PBS "Masterpiece Classic" series.
No one influences me more than my mother, who is a big-hearted artist with an entrepreneurial spirit. My sons are my inspiration to leave this world better than I found it.
