Salutations and hello! My name is Kim Sanders, and I am a nerd.

First and foremost, I would like to clarify what is is to be a nerd, as opposed to being a geek.

There are a few distinctions between Nerds and Geek that separate them in the socially awkward spectrum from other traits such as being a Dork, Dweeb, or Worm.

Nerds have a lust for knowledge on a very specific topics and research as much as possible about the subject to obtain as much information as possible with regards to the subject matter.

Geeks are enthused by by a subject, but only know topical information regarding the subject matter. Geeks are more inclined to advertise their interests, and willing to spend excessive amounts of time, effort, and money towards their geek.

To simplify it:

Nerds are Connoisseurs.

Geeks are Enthusiast

I am an animal lover, especially birds. I am a proud owner of an Indian Ringneck named Mango, who is my best friend in the world! I know it sounds weird, but we have our Sunday brunch at different restaurants, which is weird seeing a bird eating an omelette. He is Tempe's most awesome avian for his hilarious Blaxploitation phrases and bro like antics such as fist bumping and dapping.
