Kimberly Roque

Kimberly Roque is the Director of the Knowledge Center at the Council on Foundations. Prior to joining the Council in 2010, Kim worked for a series of national public charities focused on children’s education and safety, and was excited to transition her expertise in support of the philanthropic sector. Kim served as Director of MentorPRO at MENTOR, Manager of Special Projects and Volunteers at the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, Director of Community Development at First Book, and was an AmeriCorps member in North Carolina. Kim has special expertise in the areas of program start-up, research, community outreach, capacity building, and cause marketing.

Kim is an alumna of Davidson College, where she majored in English literature, and of George Mason University, where she received a master’s of public administration with a concentration in nonprofit management. She is a volunteer with WV e-mentoring, the Arlington-Alexandria Coalition for the Homeless, and is a member of the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network-DC.
