Kimberly Wasney

Hey, I’m Kimberly - Anthropologist turned Business Development professional. I'm passionate about social impact and using business as a force for good. In my day job, I lead the sales team at Packed with Purpose - a start-up corporate gifting company that creates positive societal impact by sourcing products from social enterprises and non-profits. As Vice President of Sales and Business Development, I've built a book of business that includes Fortune 100 companies and led the high-growth sales team to more than double its business year over year. Currently, I lead the our entire GTM strategy, working across both Sales and Marketing teams to design a strategic plan.

As a volunteer, I currently serve as President of the Professional Women's Club of Chicago, a non-profit networking organization designed to support, enrich, and inspire women in the city. I also sit on the Advisory Board of two start-ups, sharing what I have learned in building sales and marketing strategies and supporting their growth.

In the past year, I've also invested in two additional new endeavors in the esports industry - an agency for esports talent and a youth camps program to teach kids sports skills through gaming. My passion is connecting Woman and BIPOC entrepreneurs to capital and investors, so these are my first journeys into that arena.
