Kim Bryden is a Brand Strategist & Experiential Marketer who resides between NYC & DC. With extensive experience launching both brick-and-mortar stores & start-ups, she experience in all aspects of consumer behavior, brand engagement & the effects of community involvement. She has lived in Washington DC for 8 years, which practically makes her a native. From observing and being an integral part of the DC food scene over the years, Kim has been referred to as the "speakeasy" of DC dining.
Kim's food career began at DC's Alcoholic Beverage Regulation Administration, meeting and administering liquor licenses to restaurant and bar owners. Following that, Kim was a Marketing & Community Development Team Leader for Whole Foods Market where she led the opening of the Whole Foods Market Foggy Bottom store. Transitioning from Fortune 500 food retail management to food+tech start-up, Kim spearheaded national partnerships and events at Brooklyn-based startup Kitchensurfing, an online marketplace to hire local chefs to cook in your home. At Kitchensurfing, she worked directly on customer acquisition and growth for the New York City, Chicago, Austin, and Seattle markets.
