Kim Christensen

I began the wonderful career of teaching over 30 years ago. First in North Minneapolis, and 5 years later in Eden Prairie. After 17 years of classroom experience, my role shifted to Instructional Technology Coach for 7 years. Then back in the classroom where, again, I worked with an amazing group of sixth graders and their parents. I spent my last year online (pandemic) with a set of dedicated, creative and flexible group of students!

I'm married to a thoughtful, engaged husband, and together we have two incredible children. Our family prioritizes family time through travel, family meals and hiking. We also enjoy our (older) black lab, Riley.

My interests include reading, cooking and walking my dog. I also enjoy spending time with friends-- Girl's Weekends are something I always look forward to.
