Kim Freeman

Teaching has been my career for the past 20 years and I have taught in both the elementary and secondary panels, in a variety of schools with varying demographics. I started as a high school French teacher and have taught primary French, but not primary core, and I am interested to learn more about this division. I have also taught Intermediate English and Visual Arts and am presently teaching Gr. 6 core. I have found that changing panels has really strengthened who I am as a teacher, and adding a greater understanding of the primary bracket is my next step. I am also in the middle of finishing up my Special Education Specialist, which I found to very strongly support my teaching.

On the personal side, I have a busy family, even though we only have one son. He's a six-year-old going concern! We love to be outside playing any number of sports together. This mild weather has really helped!
