Kim Giacalone

I craft communications and marketing strategies for higher education schools and organizations. An Alabama native, I have been living in the New York metro region for so long that I have forgotten how to make sweet tea. At Stony Brook University's School of Professional Development, I manage various communications channels, develop in-person and online engagement events and workshops, and connect learners to the resources they need to succeed in graduate school. I studied communications at the University of Texas at Austin, and earned an undergraduate degree from Empire State College and an interdisciplinary master's in educational computing from Stony Brook University.
