I'm a marketing consultant working on a bunch of cool projects for amazing brands. My past corporate life was full of developing and launching new products at Unilever for brands like Dove and Vaseline - and activating them in market. Now, I help start-up and smaller brands find their "story" and bring them to life in an authentic and engaging way.
Many of my friends don't "get it" but I am super passionate about camp. Camp? Yes, summer camp. Anyplace where place where kids (or families) can spend time in the outdoors, learn new skills, make friends, have tons of fun and make lasting memories is truly the best place in the world. So I serve on the Greater Boston YMCA Camping Board of Directors.
What else? I love playing tennis and have a mean volley, but my serve stinks. I have a love-hate relationship with my ridiculous curly hair, but I am obsessed with the products I use (Deva-Curl). I love cards and board games and often force my offspring into family game nights. FFF, anyone? (FFF = forced family fun). I have two boys who are obsessed with soccer, lacrosse, video games and driving me crazy. I am a terrible cook but excel at hacks to feed my family without actually cooking.
I grew up all over the world and never spent more than four years in one place until college. I've lived on four continents (but spent time on six), including Africa, Asia, Europe, and North America. Prior to my life as a marketer, I've worked some interesting jobs, including intern at an NGO in Africa, dishwasher, lifeguard, mortgage agent, college craft shop assistant, jewelry maker - and currently PTO event organizer. The fun never ends!
And for the official stuff, I went to Northfield Mount Hermon for high school, Bucknell University for college and Duke's Fuqua School of Business for grad school.
