Ambitious, bubbly and charismatic are just a few of the ABC's that would describe Kimia Kalbasi in a nutshell.

Kimia has impeccable communication skills and loves interacting with others. She is a highly dedicated go-getter as she strives for continued excellence and enjoys learning new things. She is also a fast-paced learner and a hard worker who influences, inspires, and leads others.

Due to her immense passion for connecting with others, she has already launched her booming career in all things communication-related. She currently writes for TheDailyMeal.com as the Main City Editor for its San Francisco page.

Kimia graduated from UC Santa Barbara in June 2015 with a B.A. in Communication. She kickstarted her career with her first internship at Melrose PR and Pursecase (get 10% off with the promo code KIMIA or UCSB at Pursecase.com! As seen on ABC's hit TV show Shark Tank) back in May 2013.

She has also interned for a web start-up company in Westwood called TheLatest, where she was the TV personality on the TV team as well as the leader in the social media team. Kimia has pertinent experience in sales, public relations, television, social media, marketing, as well as journalism.

In fact, she has already interviewed local and big artists from Murs the rapper, The Ataris, and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony. She has also interviewed the lead singer of Passion Pit and Fall Out Boy at The OC Concert Guide. She was even featured in The Cataracs' music video for "Roll the Dice" featuring Robin Thicke, Borgeous, and Starting Six.

Kimia is also a former Social Media Director at The Innovation Resource for innovation speaker and bestselling author Robert Tucker. She has also been a Brand Representative for Nespresso in several William-Sonoma locations. She was formerly the Social Media Manager at APEXWAY, Inc and Contributing Writer at The Daily Confidential.

During her free time, Kimia enjoys exploring hot spots in LA, OC, SB and SF from unique and tantalizing eateries to hip, trendy shops and rooftop lounges to scenic beaches. When she's not running around juggling one task to another, she's back home in OC spending time with family and friends.
