I have been working as an educator since 2006. The first nine years of my career were spent as a classroom teacher, where I taught 7th grade Social Studies. During my time in the classroom, I discovered my passion for creating a learning environment that was relevant and engaging to students, and where technology was an integral resource to help students achieve academic goals. Throughout each school year, I saw my students transform as collaborators, thinkers, creators, problem solvers, and digital citizens.

As I began supporting colleagues by opening up my classroom, offering professional development workshops and meeting with teachers to discuss lessons, I realized the wider impact I could have on students through my work with teachers.

Since 2015, I have had the privilege of supporting my colleagues and educators throughout New Jersey as a full-time instructional coach. I have supported teachers in developing student-centered learning environments, reaching audiences beyond the classroom, differentiating instruction, and integrating technology, to name a few. I provide personalized coaching, professional development workshops, and model lessons as teachers and administrators refine their instructional practices to meet the unique needs of their learners.

I am a certified Social Studies teacher and a trained instructional coach. I am a life-long learner, an ISTE Certified Educator, a Google Certified Educator, and a believer in the growth mindset.
