At first I thought I wanted to be an interior designer, then I thought I wanted to be a nurse, then I thought I wanted to work for the government, then I became a McNair Scholar because I thought I wanted to pursue a PhD in public policy. I was confused and unfocused - but then I had a small enlightenment.
I realizedpublic relationswould allow to me exercise my passion for research, creative design, communication and advocacy. It's truly been a love affair. I built wonderful relationships with my professors, I became active in my university's Publics Relations Student Society of America chapter and I competed in a national public relations campaign competition.
I like to say that I am an "undoer of knots" because when there are no doors, I look for windows.
