Kim Pompey

Los Angeles resident and marketing professional Kim Pompey currently serves Avery Dennison Corporation as Customer Vice President, Sales. In this role, she leads the sales and marketing account teams in its Office and Consumer Products Group. Kim Pompey joined Avery Dennison in 2000 as Director of Marketing, and has risen through the ranks to her current position. During her tenure, Pompey has held other titles including Director of Trade Marketing, Director of European Marketing, Director of Emerging Markets Marketing, and Director of Customer Innovation. As Director of Emerging Markets Marketing, she worked with teams to grow revenue and build a presence in India, China, and Eastern Europe. As Director of European Marketing, Kim Pompey led profit and loss and created strategic plans to develop the pan-European strategic market. In her role as Director of Trade Marketing, Pompey conducted consumer research and developed strategic marketing plans for the Printer Papers Group.

Prior to her time at Avery Dennison, Kim Pompey served Disney Consumer Products as Director of Retail Marketing, acting as a key member of the licensed products team for apparel and toys. Before that, Pompey held positions with Calvin Klein Cosmetics/Unilever for six years, where she assumed the roles of Global Group Brand Manager, UK Marketing Manager, and Area Sales Director. There, Kim Pompey performed myriad duties that included defining U.S. marketing strategies for fragrances, relaunching the fragrances Obsession and Obsession for Men, growing the UK market, and improving retail and wholesale sales in department stores such as Neiman Marcus, Macy's, Nordstrom, and Dillard's.

Kim Pompey prepared for her successful career in marketing with an MBA in Marketing from the prestigious Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Prior to that, Kim Pompey attended Columbia University, where she obtained her Master of Social Work, and Cornell University, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.
