Kim Rice

I AM Kim Rice. Originally from Los Angeles, CA and currently living in Atlanta, GA. Over 15 years ago, I worked in an underground massage parlor for about 6 months. It was here that I connected with prostitutes, escorts, and strippers. I learned the stories and the struggles I know firsthand about depression, toxic relationships, and escaping the pressures of life through alcohol and drug use. Most importantly, I know about the transforming power of God's grace, His LOVE and how He makes ALL things new (2 Corinthians 5:17). He did it for me and He will do it for others!

I AM the Director of Reflections of Love Outreach Ministry (www.reflectinghislove.com) and a member of the Strip Church Network (http://stripchurch.com). Reflections of Love has a charge to see women in the sex industry through lenses of love. We visit strip clubs bi-monthly to give the dancers gifts and treats. We offer them encouragement, support and resources. No strings attached. Through our words and actions, we build genuine relationships by demonstrating love as described in 1 Corinthians 13:4-8.

As a mirror reflects an image, we seek to reflect our similarities while reflecting the love of Christ. We understand women working in the sex industry are daughters, mothers and sisters. We understand that the woman in the strip club is a person. She is a daughter. A mother. A sister. We know she is loved and our purpose is to remind her.
