Kim Tran

Hi! My name is Kim Tran and I am from Flowery Branch. I graduated from Flowery Branch High School this past year. I am currently a Biology major with the intent of going Pre-Med and minoring in Spanish at the University of Georgia.

In high school, I was involved in many clubs such as Student Council, National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, Beta Club, Mu Alpha Theta, and HOSA. I played the flute in the Wind Symphony Band and also ran Cross Crounty and Track for all four years of high school. Volunteering has also been a big part of my life so I enjoy working with many non profit organizations such as KidStuffUSA and the Red Cross. I am planning on entering the medical field so I have been working with Northeast Georgia Hospital as a teen volunteer and interning with Dr. Anderson at the Oakwood Medical Clinic.

So far at UGA I have joined UGA Heros, Medlife, an intermediate ultimate frisbee team, and Wesley.

My favorite movie would have to be Mrs. Doubtfire but I will watch any comedies. I enjoy watching Duck Dynasty from time to time, I think it's hilarious. I will listen to anything on the radio. I am super excited for fall because I love sweaters. I enjoy traveling, hiking, and being outdoors. I love meeting new people and making new friends. And of course I love being a dawg!
