Global services ground support equipment at airports across the United States. Entering an industry that I have always wanted to be a part of has brought a new found respect for those in aviation; it’s not just about the planes. How many of us actually think about the people that keep the trucks, passenger loading bridges and other pieces of equipment functioning and safe? I never did until now. I am proud to be part of a company that keeps us flying and safe. As for the HR end of it, I’m acquiring new friends and coworkers across the country. The idea of creating an atmosphere of unity in a company that spreads from California to New York is daunting, but it is being done. There is a strong leadership team at Global, where egos are left outside the door and value is placed on the customer and employee alike. Global is mission driven and value centered.
Some of our management team has moved to offices in Eagan, Minnesota. The move has been great for the local team and to have a place to bring supervisors and managers from all over the country to meet with us. We are growing and adding to our team. I have an amazing HR administrator and we are hiring a FT recruiter. The companies growth has had a major impact on HR; busy and exciting.
