Kinah Morgan, a Milwaukee native, is the Civic Engagement Coordinator for the Wisconsin Primary Health Care Association. Kinah’s mother, while a student at the Sister to Sister Program held at St. Vincent De Paul in Milwaukee participated in parenting classes and later began her community service as the Lead Parenting Coordinator. She passed the baton to her child, Kinah, who volunteered in the food pantry and kitchen where she had been a recipient of the same services. Throughout her childhood and adolescence, Kinah volunteered in various school programs as well as after-school sports and educational programs. After graduating from Riverside University High School in 2007, Kinah was determined to obtain a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Carroll University. However, she found herself taking a different route and moving again towards community service. After 3 years in the workforce Kinah was accepted into Public Allies – Milwaukee where she served as the Outreach Coordinator for Progressive Community Health Centers. After her service was complete, she was referred to the statewide community health center support association, The Wisconsin Primary Health Care Association (WPHCA) where she is leading the Civic Engagement Project sponsored by the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC). Kinah is proud to serve the community where she was born and raised and taught the foundation of service to others.
