Educator, Advocate, and Philanthropist in USA

Support my charity

Greetings! Thank you for your interest in learning more about me. I am a proud native of North Carolina who has had the opportunity to live in many states. After receiving my B.A. in English Literature and Women's Studies, I taught English as a Second Language for the Japanese Exchange and Teaching Programme (JET) in Japan. I also later taught Language Arts in public schools here in the USA and for a private school in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. I have been fortunate to work in Education, Human Resources, Nonprofit Case Management, Customer Relationships, Management and Administrative roles. These experiences allowed me to adapt to changing circumstances and appreciate diversity of thought and culture. When I move into a community, I like to get involved with people and activities that thrive in the area. I believe in volunteering and serving within the community as a way of getting to know and support my neighbors. As an educator who attended a woman’s college, I encourage women to get involved in public policy, and to seek elected/appointed offices in order to make the systemic changes needed. I also advocate for quality public education, policies that benefit women, children, and families, health care industry and criminal justice reform, as well as socio-economic and human rights. Feel free to connect with me and let’s see what we can do together to make this world a better place for us all.
