Nadia Kingsley

Trained as a scientist, worked as a GP, now poet, short story writer, and keen collaborator - with a particular passion for bringing Science and Arts together.

I have both a medical and a ceramics degree, and run Fair Acre Press between vegetable gardening, foraging and reading a lot.

Maligned Species: encouraging poetry-writing with a scientific slant involving podcasts by ecologists and poets and free to submissions in January 2016 (ebooks available from February 2016 - with monies donated to four ecology organisations). ACE funded.

e-x-p-a-n-d-i-n-g The History of the Universe in 45 minutes: An immersive performance by astrophysicist Prof Trevor Ponman, musician Giancarlo Facchinetti, poet Emma Purshouse in a mobile planetarium dome. ACE funded.
