My name is Kioni Kai. I am a librarian by trade and a writer by design. I believe that everyone should have access to quality information resources and know how to use them. I am a passionate advocate for libraries, for information access, and against aliteracy. I love that the "Information Age" allows people to use the tools of the Internet to spread information, to create and share and create some more, and to circumvent barriers to information access (like time and space).
I currently work as a managing editor for A Gathering Together, a literary journal launched in June 2017.
