I grew up in West Texas where my interest in type, image and art began at an early age. Before I could drive a car, I would suffer the blazing sun to ride my bike to the comic book store to buy the latest issue of Andy Warhol’s Interview magazine.

After earning a degree in Advertising & Public Relations from Texas Christian University with a minor in Graphic Design, I studied Intercultural Communications at Oxford University in England.

Over the past ten years, my design studio, Kira Evans Design, became known in Los Angeles for creative vision and the ability to get things done. Our entertainment and publicity clients appreciated that we produced projects that were on message, effective, memorable and award-winning.

Recently, my husband received an offer from Discovery and we relocated to Washington, DC. Since coming east, I have worked with hospitality and retail clients as well as one of the most powerful lobbying organizations in the district.

I have unique combination to think creatively and problem-solve with an attention to detail. My experience includes print to pixels, designers and clients, branding and storytelling.
